Last Wednesday, December 10, 2025, our terrace at Cala de la Fustera once again demonstrated that Valencian gastronomy is much more than sitting down to a meal: it is culture, memory and community.
Together we celebrate our Cacau d'Or 2025, a recognition that deeply honors us and, above all, motivates us to continue defending the tradition of the Valencian lunch from Benissa and for the entire Marina Alta.

And today we want to say something very simple, but very sincere: thank you.

Thank you to the more than 200 people who came to share this day with us.
Thank you to those of you who came from different corners of the Valencian territory just to try a clafoll, a fried dish or a dish that reminded you of home.
Thank you to those who got up early, smiled, toasted, and filled the morning with energy and friendship.

Thanks also to the academics, journalists, gastronomes and influencers who joined us and who make it possible for the culture of mid-morning breakfast to continue growing and gaining value.

We can only express our pride in our team, both inside and outside the kitchen.
To Macarena Fortón, for her tireless work and her absolute respect for traditional recipes.
To the elderly who have taught us, to the families who have passed on centuries-old flavors, and to all of you who are part of the soul of El Rall.

This award is not just ours.
This Cacau d'Or belongs to all of you.

We will continue to take care of the land, the product, and the recipes that have brought us here.
And we will continue to celebrate, every day, that the Valencian lunch is more alive than ever.
